Jesse Yeager led the Oak Park High girls' volleyball team to its most successful season in program history in 2005. In her final club volleyball competition before she takes her talents to University of Pennsylvania (body, education) University of Pennsylvania - The home of ENIAC and Machiavelli.

, Yeager wants to lead Gene's Team to a U.S. Junior Olympics 17-under Open Division title.

Yeager is one of four area standouts on hall of fame coach Gene Selznick's nine-player roster, which enters the tournament as the top-ranked 17-under team by the Southern California Southern California, also colloquially known as SoCal, is the southern portion of the U.S. state of California. Centered on the cities of Los Angeles and San Diego, Southern California is home to nearly 24 million people and is the nation's second most populated region,  Volleyball Association and fourth nationally by PrepVolleyball.com.

After leading the Southern Section with 490 kills from the outside hitter position during her senior campaign, Yeager will be relied on more as a middle blocker for Gene's Team when the 28-team competition begins today at the Georgia World Congress Center The Georgia World Congress Center or GWCC is the major convention center in Atlanta. Each team will play twobest-of-five matches per day,with pool play concluding Tuesday.

The single-elimination playoffs, with eight teams qualifying in the gold and silver brackets, will conclude Wednesday.

San Gabriel Volleyball Club's Roshambo team, featuring sixarea players, is also in Atlanta competing in the 18-under American Division.

Montes plans on playing at University of Redlands The University of Redlands is a private liberal arts and sciences university located in Redlands, California. The university was founded in 1907 and was associated with the American Baptist Church.  and the Salvo twins at Haverford College in Pennsylvania.

Morgan Anderson (La Canada/Birmingham Southern) and Laura Boyd (Crescenta Valley of La Crescenta/Stetson) also play for San Gabriel, which opens pool play with a best-of-three match at 6 a.m. PDT against the Iowa Rockets, followed by a contest against Ohio's Team Atlantis at 8 a.m.
