Quinn shook her head while walking toward the net Thursday night.

Quinn's serving error prompted Wolverines coach Jess jesse, jess

Quiroz was glad he gave Quinn a second chance.

The next time Quinn served, she responded with 13 points, including three of her five aces.

``Quinn, Oh my god,'' Quiroz said after the Wolverines upset the Tologs with a 25-19, 25-11, 25-13 win at Harvard-Westlake that ended Flintridge Sacred Heart's 34-match league winning streak Noun 1. winning streak - a streak of wins

. ``After that miss, I was ready to actually tell her to stop jump serving. We couldn't take that chance. But (Stork) begged me for a chance and she called it right.''

The Wolverines, who hold a record 88 straight league victories between 1992-2001, trailed by four before Quinn (seven kills) stepped up to give Harvard-Westlake a 23-15 lead.

``Coming in, it was in the back of my mind to dominate them,'' Quinn said. ``I wanted to take it into my own hands.''

Quiroz's team, which hadn't beaten the Tologs (19-4, 7-1) since Oct. 15, 2003, would trail only once the rest of the way.

The Tologs, known for their solid defense, couldn't find a solution to stopping Harvard-Westlake's attack.

Brittany Julian led the Wolverines (19-4, 7-1), ranked No. 2 in Southern Section Div. I-A, with 16 kills. Katherine Seabastion added 25 assists.

Julie Herrera's 12 kills led the top-ranked Tologs.
