The host Warriors also knew a tie would create a must-win situation Friday at Agoura.

Thousand Oaks, coming off a two-goal loss at Moorpark, was even more desperate for a victory in its bid to repeat as league champion.

``You're never happy with a tie,'' Thousand Oaks coach Geoff Raives said. ``But I'm happy with the way the girls fought back and didn't give up when we went down early.''

Olin's potential winning goal was denied by Thousand Oaks goalkeeper Laura Brain, who stopped a 15-yard shot in the 72nd minute.
