GIRLS' BASKETBALL: SENIOR SHOOTS H.-W. TO TITLE H.-W. 72, CHAMINADE 42.

Byline: KEVIN CONNELLY Kevin Connelly was born in Middlesbrough, England. He is an impressionist comedian, and after dinner speaker and is probably most famous for his role on the popular BBC television programme 'Dead Ringers'.  Special to the Daily News

YoYo Greenfield Greenfield, town (1990 pop. 18,666), seat of Franklin co., NW Mass., at the confluence of the Deerfield and Green rivers, near their junction with the Connecticut; settled 1686, set off from Deerfield and inc. 1753.  called for the ball at the top of the key Tuesday Tuesday: see week.  night, then buried bur·y

She clapped from the right corner moments later, before hitting another with a hand in her face.

It was that kind of night for the Harvard-Westlake of Studio City girls' basketball standout, who scored a game-high 24points as the host Wolverines clinched the Mission League title with a 72-42 victory over Chaminade Chaminade can refer to:

Nicole Hung scored 15 points, and Nicole Nesbit Nes·bit   , E(dith) 1858-1924.

added 14 for Harvard- Westlake (20-5, 9-0), which last won a league title in 2004. Chaminade trailed by seven points midway Midway, island group (2 sq mi/5.2 sq km), central Pacific, c.1,150 mi (1,850 km) NW of Honolulu, comprising Sand and Eastern islands with the surrounding atoll. Discovered by Americans in 1859, Midway was annexed in 1867. A cable station was opened in 1903.  through the third quarter, but the Eagles (18-7, 7-2) were outscored 20-4 in the final period.

``This game was all I could think about all week,'' Greenfield said.

``During our winter formal dance last week, winning the Mission League title was on my mind.''

Greenfield finished 4 of 6 from beyond the 3-point line on the night, making two of those treys from 24 feet away. The Yale-bound point guard's performance came on senior night -- odd, considering she's the only senior on the Wolverines' roster.

Harvard-Westlake boasts five freshmen, including Nesbit and Hung.

``To be honest, I didn't expect to win this thing when the season started,'' Greenfield said. ``The younger girls stepped up, and we just kept winning games. We're confident as ever right now. It's been a great run.''

Harvard-Westlake, ranked No. 5 in the area by the Daily News, won just threeMission League games last season to finish in fourth place.

No. 8 Chaminade, which has already clinched at least a share of second place, last won a league title in 2003.

Mara Lux and Erin Dautremont each scored 10 points for the Eagles, who led Harvard-Westlake in the final minutes on Jan. 20, but lost 47-44 to the Wolverines at home.
