GIRL MAY FACE CHARGE AFTER SOLVENT PUT IN TEACHER'S MUG.

 student faces a possible assault charge after allegedly admitting to authorities that she poured a chemical solvent into her teacher's coffee mug on another student's dare.

The teacher, Douglas Brown, drank the tainted coffee, but apparently suffered no ill effects, said Principal JoAnna Kunes.

``It's a very sad incident,'' Kunes said. ``We are working with a lot of 10-, 11-, and 12-year-olds who have impulses. We understand it was a dare by another student. We are very unhappy about it and very grateful the teacher is not harmed.''
