The teen, a passenger in a car, was killed in the road accident in Carrickfergus, Co Antrim.

The vehicle she was travelling in collided with a lorry on the New Line at around lunchtime.

Two men aged 21 and 31 were treated in hospital for head injuries, which are not believed to be life-threatening.

Police have appealed for anyone who witnessed the crash to contact them.
