 student was walking at 6:55 a.m. along Del Monte Drive near the Valencia Crossroads shopping center shopping center, a concentration of retail, service, and entertainment enterprises designed to serve the surrounding region. Sheriff's deputies responding from the station nearby were unable to locate the man, Walker said.

Fuller plans to notify the school district superintendent to see if a warning will be issued for students. He did caution students walking along to city bus stops to keep aware of their surroundings.
