The Screen Actors Guild's ``Membership First'' slate dominated the guild's election for seats on SAG's powerful national board, serving a blow to the ``Restore Respect'' slate backed by President Melissa Gilbert, according to according to

The following ``Membership First'' candidates were the top 13 vote- getters, which gives all but two a three-year term on the national and Hollywood division boards of SAG: Lou Diamond Master Gunnery Sergeant Leland "Lou" Diamond USMC (May 30 1890 – September 20 1951) is famous within the US Marine Corps as the classic example of the "Old Breed" - tough, hard-fighting career Marines who served in the Corps in the years between World War I and World War II.  Phillips, Valerie Harper Valerie Harper (born August 22, 1940 in Suffern, New York) is an Emmy Award-winning American actress, best known for her role as Rhoda Morgenstern-Gerard on the 1970s television show The Mary Tyler Moore Show, and its spinoff, Rhoda. , Esai Morales Esai Morales (born October 1, 1962) is an actor perhaps best known for his role as Lt. Tony Rodriguez on the long-running ABC television police drama NYPD Blue. He also appeared in the PBS drama American Family and in the Showtime series Resurrection Blvd. , Kent McCord Kent McCord (born September 26, 1942) is an American actor.

McCord was born Kent Franklin McWhirter in Los Angeles, California. Using the stage name Kent McCord, he first appeared on television in 1962 as a guest on The Adventures of Ozzie & Harriet.
, Seymour Cassel, Bill Daniels, Frances Fisher, Alan Rosenberg, Jane Austin, France Nuyen, and Bonnie Bartlett. David Huddleston was elected to a two-year term and Leigh French was elected to a one-year term.

There were 35 open seats on its Hollywood board, with the top 13 vote-getters also getting a seat on the union's national board.

A total of 12,446 ballots were tabulated, representing 23 percent of the ballots mailed in the Hollywood division.
