GIE Media starts quarterly production of "Secure Destruction Business".

 Media (Cleveland, OH) has begun the publication of Secure Destruction Business (SDB (Switched Digital Broadcast) See switched video. ), a new magazine that will be published quarterly through 2004 and six times a year beginning in 2005. It has a controlled circulation of 5000 security professionals, and management and IT executives.

GIE said it launched the title because of a void in the market for a publication covering the security and destruction industry. It is designed to cover basic business and regulatory information, new technologies and the commodities produced by the destruction process. It also carries information on legal and government actions and proposals, selecting a secure destruction contractor, destroying the daily flow of records, convincing security directors that they are responsible for records destruction and involving security directors in protecting company information possessed by vendors.

The first issue includes a cover story on a regional destruction services company, an article on serving legal system clients, a round-up of shredding shred

GIE's Recycling Today Media Group also publishes Recycling Today and the recently launched Construction & Demolition Demolition is the opposite of construction: the tearing-down of buildings and other structures.
