GGX Announces Agreement to Provide Image Quality Management Technology to Inspectron Corporation; IQ Data Systems Division to License Patent-Pending IQ Technology.


WALTHAM, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 24, 1999--GGX(R), a leading provider of products and technology for digital imaging and printing, today announced that its IQ Data Systems division has agreed to license its IQ(tm) Analysis Engine Software Development Kit to Inspectron Corporation, a leading provider of high-speed, in-line print inspection systems.

IQ Data Systems will provide Inspectron with an Application Programmer's Interface (API (Application Programming Interface) A language and message format used by an application program to communicate with the operating system or some other control program such as a database management system (DBMS) or communications protocol. ) that enables OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) The rebranding of equipment and selling it. The term initially referred to the company that made the products (the "original" manufacturer), but eventually became widely used to refer to the organization that buys the products and  partners to add image quality measurement functions of its IQ(tm) technology as a complementary feature set to their own products.
