Expositions (VNU) have signed a new contract, naming GES as one of VNU's primary general services contractors. The agreement covers approximately 40 VNU events per year, planned during 2002 to 2004.

VNU (formerly BillCom Exposition & Conference Group) is a full-service event management company that professionally operates, arranges, organizes and sponsors tradeshows, expositions, conferences, conventions and meetings for associations, corporations and government entities. Events planned for the remainder of this year include The Imprinted Sportswear Shows (Fort Worth, Sept. 14-16), as well as the Outdoor Retailer Expo (Salt Lake City, Aug. 16-19) and Medtrade (New Orleans New Orleans (ôr`lēənz –lənz, ôrlēnz`), city (2006 pop. 187,525), coextensive with Orleans parish, SE La., between the Mississippi River and Lake Pontchartrain, 107 mi (172 km) by water from the river mouth; founded , Oct. 23-25).

"This contract award highlights the strong working relationship GES has developed with VNU over many years," said Jeff Quade, vice president, tradeshow sales and marketing. "Last year, VNU purchased Miller Freeman An earlier subsidiary of United News & Media (www.unm.com). Miller Freeman was a leading trade show organizer and publisher serving a variety of industries. In 1996, it acquired the Blenheim Group, producers of the popular PC EXPO trade show, and in 1999, it acquired the CMP , a company with which GES had equally shared a solid long-term partnership. GES is excited at the opportunity to continue to offer VNU our superior customer service, enhanced by our technology advances, such as GES Interkit, GES' on-line ordering system."

"GES has proved to be a firm and reliable partner for us, and we are confident that the high standards our exhibitors have come to expect will continue to benefit our industry presence long into the future," stated Jim Bracken, chairman, VNU.

GES provides global exhibition and event services from 36 major cities across North America. A subsidiary of Viad Corp (NYSE NYSE
