GEORGIA-PACIFIC NAMES WILSON VICE PRESIDENT-INFORMATION RESOURCES

 ATLANTA, Nov. 30 ~PRNewswire~ -- Georgia-Pacific Corp. (NYSE: GP) today announced that its board of directors has named Carl Wilson as vice president-information resources.
 Wilson joins Georgia-Pacific effective Dec. 1, with more than 25 years of information systems experience.
 Prior to joining Georgia-Pacific, Wilson was senior vice president of management information services at Grand Metropolitan Plc, Pillsbury Company, where he had worked since 1984.
 At Georgia-Pacific, Wilson will be responsible for overall management of the company's business information systems. He will direct all information services functions, including systems development, operations, telecommunications, technical support and equipment selection.
 Wilson will be based at the company's headquarters in Atlanta.
