GEORGETOWN PUBLISHING SOLD TO WICKS BUSINESS INFORMATION.Wicks Business Information (Fairfield, CT) has acquired newsletter publisher. Georgetown Publishing House (Washington, D.C.) and affiliate Global Network, Inc. from co-owners Dani Levinas and Norman Rentrop Norman Rentrop (born 1957 in Bonn) is a German publisher, author and investor. He is owner/shareholder of the German - based "Rentrop publishing group", "Rentrop & Straton" in Romania, "Wiedza i Praktyka" in Poland. (Bonn, Germany). No terms were given for the deal although estimates in other media put the sale price at about $20 million. Georgetown was represented by Eugene Simonoff & Associates (New York New York, state, United States New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of ). Georgetown's subscription newsletters cover such topics as employee retention, time management and online marketing. Titles include Trend Letter, American Speaker, The Organized Executive, What's Working Online, Leadership Strategies, Funny Business, Executive Advantage and Hiring the Best. The eight publications will be added to Wicks' Briefings Publishing Group (BPG BPG Blocks Per Game (basketball statistic) BPG Bisphosphoglycerate BPG Bi-National Planning Group (NORADHQ) BPG Belgian Polymer Group BPG Binational Planning Group ; Alexandria, VA). BPG also publishes Communications Briefings, related newsletters, books and videos. Wicks acquisition of BPG in August of 1999 was the company's first.
