Brill Brill or Bril, Flemish painters, brothers. Mattys Brill (mä`tīs), 1550–83, went to Rome early in his career and executed frescoes for Gregory XIII in the Vatican. and Richard A. Goglia as directors of corporate development. They will report to vice president -- corporate development Philip A. Goodrich. Mr. Brill and Mr. Goglia will be responsible for identifying opportunities for strategic business combinations as part of General Signal's mergers and acquisitions effort. Richard A. Goglia, 43, joined General Signal after a 15-year career with General Electric, where he assumed increasing levels of responsibility in corporate finance, M&A, and strategic planning. Most recently, he was a senior vice president in GE Capital Corporate Finance and held previous finance, business development, and strategic planning positions at GE Capital's corporate office and two other operating groups, GE Meter and GE Power Delivery. Mr. Goglia received a bachelor's degree in economics from Bucknell University Bucknell University (bŭknĕl`), at Lewisburg, Pa.; coeducational; founded 1846 as the Univ. of Lewisburg. Its present name was adopted in 1886. Bucknell has a college of arts and sciences and a college of engineering. and holds an MBA from the Wharton School.
