GENERAL DATACOMM AND ERICSSON SIGN GLOBAL COOPERATION AND SUPPLY AGREEMENT FOR GDC APEX ATM SWITCHES.


MIDDLEBURY, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 5, 1995 -- General DataComm, Inc. (NYSE-GDC), the leader in providing real business solutions based on Asynchronous Transfer Mode See ATM.

 (ATM) products and services, announced today it has signed a two year, $15 million cooperation and supply agreement with global telecommunications systems integrator Ericsson. Under the terms of the agreement, Ericsson Business Networks AB and other Ericsson affiliates will sell GDC's APEX family of ATM switches as part of a total business communications solution worldwide.
