GENERAL AUTOMATION INC. AND PICK SYSTEMS FORM EXPANDED TECHNOLOGY AND DISTRIBUTION PACT

 Expanded Product Line to Include
 All Motorola, Intel, and Power PC Platforms
 ANAHEIM, Calif., Oct. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- General Automaton Inc. (GA) today announced a major expansion of its long-standing technology and distribution relationship with Pick Systems.
 By terms of the agreement, GA will extend its successful R91(TM) Pick(R)-based relational database for Motorola 68000-based systems to include all Motorola, Intel, and Power PC platforms. In addition, GA is appointed as a worldwide master distributor for Advanced Pick(R).
 Len Mackenzie, president and chief executive officer of GA, stated, "We have been a leading successful Pick developer and manufacturer for over 10 years, and we are delighted to expand our close relationship with Pick Systems."
