). The indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity firm fixed-price contract has a base contract period of two years plus three one-year options and is valued at $40.6 million. GIS will commence work on December 1, 2005.

Under the contract, GIS will perform all receipt, storage, issuance and transportation services while its small business subcontractor, Akima Management Services, will perform packaging, packing, preservation and marking services.
