GE provides loan for Carlyle refi.


GE Real Estate announced it provided a $13.45 million flexible fixed rate loan to the Carlyle Development Group, for the refinancing of Juniper Court, a retail property located in Center City, Philadelphia Center City is the "downtown" section of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and by population, is the 3rd largest downtown in the United States. It is bounded by South Street to the south, the Delaware River to the east, the Schuylkill River to the west and either Vine Street or Spring .

The three-year loan includes a $2 million earnout available if the property meets specified performance criteria. This was the first transaction between GE Real Estate and Carlyle, which is headquartered in White Plains, NY. The transaction was facilitated by CBRE CBRE CB Richard Ellis (real-estate firm)

By the end of 2007, West Elm plans to have 28 store locations open in the United States.
