GE Money Offers Service Contract Program for RV Industry.

IRVINE, Calif. -- GE Money's Sales Finance unit has become the first provider of consumer recreational vehicle (RV) financing to offer a comprehensive extended service contract program for owners of motor homes, trailers and campers.

GE's 5-Star Program, administered through Auto Warranty Services (AWS), a GE Money division, may be offered to consumers by any RV retailer that offers GE Money's consumer financing on the sale of new, used, motorized and towable RVs.

"The 5-Star service contract program is a complement to our full spectrum lending," said Ed Arienti, RV/Marine president for GE Money - Sales Finance. "Consumers are able to have great protection for their purchase, and dealers now have the convenience of offering both financing and service contracts from one source."

The 5-Star Program provides extended protection for motor homes, trailers and campers. It includes:

* Emergency Roadside assistance, 24/7, for lockouts, tire changes, jump starts, fluid delivery, towing and more.

* Replacement vehicle reimbursement during repair periods.

* Meal and lodging reimbursement for interrupted trips.

* Reimbursement for required deductible fees when mechanical breakdowns are covered by a manufacturer's warranty.

With more than 25 years of experience in the service contract industry, GE's Auto Warranty Services product is backed by more than $700 billion in assets of GE.
