GE to Offer CardioNET and EchoPRO Solutions for Cardiology cardiology

Today, GE Medical Systems and Micro Medical Systems signed an agreement that grants GE Medical Systems exclusive rights to distribute CardioNET(TM) and EchoPRO(TM) cardiology database software products. These products integrate and manage diverse patient data from multiple sites, allowing cardiologists and other healthcare professionals ease in obtaining critical information as they work with patients.

"This effort uniquely positions GE Medical Systems to link cardiology imaging and monitoring equipment at various locations for complete, single-source decision analysis and patient information management," said John Burian, Manager of Cardiology at GE Medical Systems. "The CardioNET and EchoPRO offerings, together with the cardiology offerings from GE's pending acquisition of Marquette Medical Systems, are important additions to GE Medical Systems' complete line of cardiology solutions."
