GE Inspection Technologies to acquire phoenix/x-ray.


BILLERICA, Mass. -- GE Inspection Technologies has signed a definitive agreement to acquire phoenix|x-ray, a leader in high-resolution computed tomography high-resolution computed tomography Imaging CT at slice–collimation scan interval widths of ≤ 4 mm, which is narrower than the usual
1-3 cm interval 'slices' obtained in conventional CT imaging. Cf Spiral computed tomography.
 (CT) / X-ray technology used in non-destructive testing (NDT NDT Newfoundland Daylight Time ) applications. The transaction will be completed upon receipt of regulatory approvals. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
