GE Helps Preserve Olympic Security in Athens; GE explosives trace detectors deployed at Olympic venue.


WILMINGTON, Mass. -- GE Infrastructure Security, a leading manufacturer of explosives trace detection and identification equipment, today announced that 39 GE Itemiser explosives trace detection systems were deployed prior to the recently concluded 2004 Olympic Games Olympic games, premier athletic meeting of ancient Greece, and, in modern times, series of international sports contests.
