GDT unveils a new online address matching service.

Geographic Data Technology, Inc., a developer of premier business geographics databases, has announced the release of Matchmaker OnLine, an Internet geocoding service based on GDT's superior address matching technology.

Matchmaker OnLine gives customers access to the same geocoding engine used by application developers and by GDT's own internal Geocoding Services Department. Matchmaker Online allows users to match alphanumeric and Puerto Rican addresses, as well as standard U.S. addresses. With Matchmaker OnLine, users log onto a secure Internet server, upload address lists for address matching, and then download the geocoding results. In performance tests, Matchmaker OnLine has achieved match speeds of 5 million records an hour.

Matchmaker Online uses GDT's Matchmaker SDK Professional technology, combined with an Address Coding Guide (ACG) based on GDT's complete and comprehensive sweet network. The ACG is updated monthly to help ensure high match rates.
