GCSS-AF Team Delivers Core Enterprise Service to the United States Air Force; Systinet and Lockheed Martin Corporation Deliver Production Core Discovery Service to US Department of Defense.

 to architect and deliver a rapid enterprise solution to the United States Air Force community. Within ninety days, the team architected, implemented and deployed the Department of Defense's first production Core Enterprise Service for Service Discovery.

Service Discovery will provide a critical infrastructure role for enabling Web service discovery (both at design time and runtime), lifecycle management and governance for Enterprise Air Force services. Systinet Registry will provide the foundation for Service Discovery, providing the core UDDI (Universal Description, Discovery and Integration) An industry initiative for a universal business registry (catalog) of Web services turned over to the stewardship of OASIS in 2002 as the version 3 specification of UDDI was released.  protocols for discovery and inquiry, in addition to advanced capabilities for service lifecycle management and governance.
