GATX Announces Quarterly Dividend.

) today declared a quarterly dividend of $0.24 per common share, payable March 31, 2007, to shareholders of record on March 2, 2007. This quarterly dividend represents a 14% increase from the prior quarter level of $0.21 per common share.

The board also declared a quarterly dividend of $0.625 per share on the $2.50 preferred stock Stock shares that have preferential rights to dividends or to amounts distributable on liquidation, or to both, ahead of common shareholders.

Preferred stock is given preference over common stock. Holders of preferred stock receive dividends at a fixed annual rate.

GATX has paid a quarterly dividend, uninterrupted, since 1919.
