GARDEN CLUB PLANS TOUR.

Take a break from tending your garden Sunday and visit five elaborate theme gardens during the 24th annual Garden and Patio Tour sponsored by the Westlake Village Garden Club.

The tour is designed so people can visit all five sites between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m., according to according to
prep.

The gardens include a hillside transformed to include tree-lined paths and vantage points to a garden with 80 varieties of drought-tolerant plants.

Tickets for the tour are $6, and proceeds will go to charities supported by the club, including the Nature Conservancy Nature Conservancy, nonprofit organization established in 1951 to preserve or aid in the preservation of natural environments. It protects wilderness areas in the United States and Canada and is affiliated with similar groups in Latin America and the Caribbean.  and Conejo Valley The Conejo Valley is a region spanning both Southeastern Ventura County and Northwest Los Angeles County in Southern California, United States. It was discovered in 1542 by Spanish explorer Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo, and eventually became part of the Rancho El Conejo land grant by  Botanic Garden a garden devoted to the culture of plants collected for the purpose of illustrating the science of botany.
