GARBAGE TRUCKS PURCHASE.

The Government will spend Bds$6.8 million (US$3.4 million) to purchase a new fleet of trucks and spare parts for its Sanitation Services Authority (SSA), reports CANA (October 10, 1998). Health Minister Elizabeth Thompson says the Ministry of Finance is holding talks with a number of financial institutions to raise the money to purchase the vehicles.
