STARS OF THE GAME

Oregon State - Derek Anderson, senior quarterback, Scappoose. In his final game in Reser Stadium, Anderson completed 24-of-41 passes for 351 yards and four touchdowns, with one interception. He tied his single-season school record of touchdown passes, set in 2002, with 25.

Anderson now has nine touchdown passes against Oregon in his career, including four each in the two Civil Wars he played in Reser Stadium.

Oregon - Terrence Whitehead, junior tailback, Los Angeles. Whitehead netted 110 yards on 18 carries, averaging 6.1 yards, and caught four passes for 31 yards. Whitehead, who rushed for more than 100 yards in six of his last eight games, finishes the season with 1,114 yards, which ranks seventh on the Oregon single-season list. Whitehead passed Reuben Droughns to move into eighth on Oregon's career rushing list with 2,153 yards.

KEY STAT

OSU's unstoppable offense - The Beavers scored on 5-of-6 first-half possessions and five of their first six second-half possessions; by then they were up 50-21. They rolled up 455 yards total offense, had 30 first downs and converted 7-of-16 third-down opportunities.

GAME NOTES

Oregon State's 50 points were the most by either team in the 108-year history of the game. ... OSU's 29-point margin was the Beavers' second-largest in the series, trailing only the 39-2 win in 1942. ... The Beavers have three straight winning seasons for the first time since five straight in 1966-70. ... OSU swept its three Northwest rivals for the first time since 1974. ... Oregon wideout Demetrius Williams caught his second TD pass of the season and first since the Indiana game.

INJURY REPORT

Previous injuries kept Oregon rover Marley Tucker, cornerback Marques Binns and wide receiver Keith Allen out of action; no other reported Oregon injuries. OSU running back Dwight Wright left the game with a knee injury and didn't return.
