Welton and Eduardo Hurtado Eduardo Hurtado Roa (born January 12, 1969, in Esmeraldas, Ecuador) is a footballer who plays as a striker. He has the record of being one of the all-time leading scorers for the Ecuador national football team with 26 goals in 74 caps.  each scored Tuesday night and the Galaxy defeated Luis Angel Firpo of El Salvador 2-0 in the quarterfinals of the CONCACAF CONCACAF Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football (Soccer)

Hurtado clinched the victory in the 78th minute on a header off a pinpoint pass from Danny Pena.

The Galaxy, 3-0-1 in international competition this year, will play the winner of Tuesday's second match between D.C. United and United Petrotrin in the semifinals of the tournament which features the top professional club teams of North America, Central America and the Caribbean.

The semifinals and finals will be held at RFK Stadium on Aug. 22 and 24.

The Galaxy had the services of flamboyant goalkeeper Jorge Campos, who was seeing his first action since sitting out a week while his status was worked out between the MLS See multilevel security.  and the Mexican League, where he plays for Cruz Azul.
