CARSON -- The rebuilding of the struggling Galaxy took a major step forward Tuesday with the trade of starting left back Todd Dunivant Todd Dunivant (born December 26, 1980 in Wheat Ridge, Colorado) is an American soccer defender, who currently plays for Toronto FC in Major League Soccer.

Dunivant played college soccer at Stanford University from 1999 to 2002.

The trade of Dunivant for an allocation and to help free up salary-cap space are clear signals more changes are coming for the MLS' worst team.

One of them is believed to be left back Ante Jazic, who played for new Galaxy coach Frank Yallop when he directed the Canadian men's national team. Jazic's most recent club was FCKuban Krasnodar in the Russian First Division The Russian First Division is the second level of Russian professional football. The division is run by Russian Professional Football League.

The First division consists of 22 clubs.
