Byline: LARRY MORGAN Staff Writer

CARSON -- The Galaxy's season-long problems continued unabated Saturday night at Home Depot The Home Depot (NYSE: HD) is an American retailer of home improvement and construction products and services.

Headquartered in Vinings, just outside Atlanta in unincorporated Cobb County, Georgia, Home Depot employs more than 355,000 people and operates 2,164 big-box

But some much-needed help could be on the way in the form of Landon Donovan Landon Timothy Donovan (born March 4, 1982 in Ontario, California), is an American professional soccer player on the Los Angeles Galaxy, who is the joint all-time leading scorer for the U.S. National Team (along with Eric Wynalda).  and Chris Albright Christopher John "Chris" Albright (born January 14, 1979 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) is an American international soccer defender for the Los Angeles Galaxy in Major League Soccer.

Albright attended William Penn Charter School.
, who are back with the club after they completed U.S. national-team duties at the World Cup. Albright, in fact, started at right back after flying in from Germany in mid-afternoon and lasted 62 minutes before he was substituted by Troy Roberts Troy Dazrell Roberts (born September 18, 1983 in Fremont, California) is an American soccer defender, who currently plays for the Los Angeles Galaxy of Major League Soccer.

Roberts played college soccer at UC Berkeley, and was named All-Pac 10 his junior and senior seasons.
. But he didn't leave the game because of exhaustion; he left to join his wife, Leah, who is expecting the couple's first child, went into labor and was taken to a local hospital.

Donovan, on the other hand, watched the game from a luxury suite located at the south end of Home Depot Center. He saw occasional glimpses of attractive soccer, but the end result was a tie that gave the Galaxy a Major League soccer-worst 2-10-3 record.

Los Angeles hasn't won since a 3-2 victory over Real Salt Lake on April 29.

The second half was a lackluster affair, but not so the first half, which surprisingly had plenty of action and several close calls. Houston's Brian Ching, who just rejoined the team after he also national-team duty with the U.S., had three good chances to score his eighth goal of the season. His best attempt occurred in the 24th minute, when Ricardo Clark directed a perfect crossing pass to Ching For the Chinese surname Ching 程, see .

The Dynamo (6-3-4), owners of a five-game unbeaten streak, had another close call in the 40th minute. This one was courtesy of Alejandro Moreno who, after a nice combination between Ching and Dwayne De Rosario Dwayne De Rosario (also spelt de Rosario and commonly shortened to DeRo by fans; born on May 15, 1978 in Scarborough, Ontario) is a Canadian soccer player, who currently plays as a midfielder and forward for Houston Dynamo of Major League Soccer. , was just wide from 15 yards.

Houston almost made it 1-0 in extra time in the opening half when Wade Barrett spun well into the Galaxy's penalty area, but his attempt from eight yards and was deflected away by Albright.
