Especially working for an airline where you are on show all day and always having to be presentable. Over the years my air hostess colleagues and I have probably tried every diet known to woman. Most of you reading this know what I mean by that. The soup diet, the Cambridge diet, Just-a-Low-Fat diet, not eating after six diet, Atkins diet, Atkins, n.pr a dietary system developed by Robert Atkins, MD, that recommends eating high-protein foods that are dense in nutrients. Consuming certain nutritional supplements and refined or processed carbohydrates is discouraged. diet, slimming drinks, slimming pills, slimming world Slimming World is a British company which runs over 5,000 weight loss classes a week across the UK. Adults who are seven or more pounds overweight may join a local Slimming World class and pay a weekly fee to attend classes. , Rosemary Conley, Scottish Slimmers and also, of course, Weight Watchers. The most successful diets of them all of course are the meeting the new man diet or the having a wee sleekit bit on the side diet. That's because they never have time to eat, so I'm told. Anyway I'm now experiencing another diet. It's called the running-about-after-a- new-baby diet. And not-knowing-whether-it's-New- Year-or-New-York diet. I've been told that I look pretty much back to normal. I am still going back to my slimming class next week, though - to cast off a few more pounds. I'll no doubt be dieting until my 80s.
