Byline: PATRICK WILSON

THE 2002 Allianz Football League may be only just warming up but the early indications are that it is going to be one of the most competitive for years.

Only 11 of the 32 counties have managed to remain unbeaten, despite the fact that several have only played two rounds. The unbeaten sides are:

Division 1A: Tyrone, Roscommon. Division 1B: Cavan, Kildare, Mayo, Sligo.

Division 2A: Armagh, Kerry, Limerick Limerick, city, Republic of Ireland
Limerick, city (1991 pop. 56,083), seat of Co. Limerick, SW Republic of Ireland, at the head of the Shannon estuary. The city has a port with two docks.
. Division 2B: Laois, Wexford.

Last Sunday was a happy day for the O'Dwyer family as Kildare beat Derry by 1-15 to 1-11 in Division 1B at Newbridge.

Louth's Mark Stanfield maintained his great scoring record this season when adding 1-10 to his total as his side overwhelmed Wicklow (2-18 to 0-12) in Division 2A.

Limerick's Michael Reidy was also in top scoring form, hitting 2-6 of Limerick's 3-22 total against London in Division 2A.

Laois gained revenge for their defeat by Carlow in the O'Byrne Cup The O'Byrne Cup is a Gaelic Athletic Association competition between teams from Leinster.
