GAA REVEAL AWARD WINNERS.


By PAT NOLAN THE GAA yesterday announced the winners of the 2008 McNamee awards.

The media awards are named after the late Padraig McNamee, a former GAA president.

Among the winners was former Mirror reporter Jackie Cahill, who picked up the National Media Award for an insightful piece written on Clare hurler Niall Gilligan.

The awards will be presented at a ceremony at Croke Park this evening after the Limerick-Tipperary All-Ireland SHC SHC Sears Holdings Corporation (Hoffman Estates, ILt)
