GAA: EOINLY ONE WINNER; Naomh Eoin 3-14 Celbridge 0-12.


NAOMH EOIN EOIN End of Instruction  of Carlow recorded a facile win over Celbridge yesterday in Leixlep in the first round of the Leinster Club Hurling Championship.

The big men from the little south Carlow village of Myshall were superior in all departments to their opponents from the Kildare/Dublin border.

Goals were the difference as the Carlow champions put the sliotar in the net.

Kevin Foley, Australian politician, is the current Deputy Premier of South Australia, serving under Premier Mike Rann. Foley is a member of the Australian Labor Party.
