GAA: Cody stays on as Cats boss.

KILKENNY boss Brian Cody Brian Cody (born 1954) is an Irish hurling manager and former player, currently in his ninth season as manager of the Kilkenny senior inter-county team. He played hurling with his local club James Stephens and with the Kilkenny senior inter-county team in the 1970s and 1980s.  has committed himself to another season in charge of the county's senior hurling team.

Martin Fogarty, who led the Cats to the last two under-21 All-Irelands, has been called up as a selector to be groomed for the top job when Cody quits.

There were rumours that team trainer Mick O'Flynn would be replaced by under-21 trainer Mick Dempsey, but O'Flynn remains with Dempsey taking on a selector's role.
