GAA: All-time Low best for Laois; CARLOW v LAOIS.


Byline: PAUL KEANE Paul Keane (born in 1958) is an Australian actor well known for playing Des Clarke in the soap opera Neighbours. Other TV credits include Bliss and Flight Into Hell. He was trained at the National Institute of Dramatic Art, graduating in 1983.  

ANYTHING but a Laois victory tomorrow would be a big surprise but both sides have been involved in their share of upsets.

Two years ago Laois were defeated by Meath in the championship - last year Carlow defeated Meath.

By extension one would expect the meeting of Carlow and Laois to be a tight affair but in the space of 12 months the gap has widened considerably.
