GAA: ARMAGH v TYRONE.


THEY meet for the second consecutive year, with Armagh Armagh, city, Northern Ireland
Armagh, city (1991 pop. 12,700), S Northern Ireland. Textiles, chemicals, and processed foods are produced in the city. Armagh (originally Ard Macha) has been the ecclesiastical capital of all Ireland since the 5th cent.
 holding the psychological edge of having won by 0-12 to 0-8 in Clones on June 4, 2000.

It was the start of a glory run for Armagh who went on to win the Ulster Ulster, northernmost of the historic provinces of Ireland. Modern Ulster consists of nine counties.
