FutureOne Announces Management Changes.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 12, 2001

FutureOne, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: FUTO.OB), www.futureone.com, announced today that it has completed previously planned changes in its senior management as a result of its completed restructuring.

Donald D. Cannella, the current Executive Vice President of the Company and President of OPEC CORP., has been elected to replace Earl J. Cook as President/CEO. Mr. Cook has resigned as an Officer and Director of the Company under a severance agreement with the Company whereby he will continue to provide limited services to FutureOne.

As previously planned, Steven R. Green has also resigned as Chairman of the Board and a Director of the Company. Mr. Green is the managing partner of Blackwater Capital Partners, L.P., a venture capital firm and large equity holder. Mr. Green has entered into an agreement with FutureOne to arrange equity and bank financing for the Company.

Now that FutureOne is restructured and completely focused on engineering and construction, Mr. Cook and Mr. Green believe that their management successors should now provide the leadership for the whole Company in order to execute the Company's new business plan.

Mr. Green stated, "Mr. Cook and I led the effort to complete the restructuring of FutureOne in the second half of 2000 so that Mr. Cannella could implement and focus on a strategy for future growth, profitability and a new beginning for the Company and its shareholders." Mr. Green added, "I look forward to assisting FutureOne with its capital needs for growth.
