). The initial systems were delivered for $329,000, with contract options for an additional 15 systems increasing the contract to its total value of $2.8 million.

Previously used in the development phase of this program, Concurrent's PowerMAXION and PowerMAX OS successfully met the performance goals established by FTI and the U.S. Army. In the production phase, the Concurrent systems will execute such real-time computational tasks as flight simulation modeling, real-time pilot and co-pilot input, image generator commands, cockpit graphics with touch screens, aural cueing commands, distributed interactive simulation Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS) is an open standard for conducting real-time platform-level wargaming across multiple host computers and is used worldwide especially by military organizations but also by other agencies such as those involved in space exploration and , and ModSAF mapping and entities.

FTI is a small disadvantaged business headquartered in Seabrook, Maryland, which specializes in simulation and training systems development. The Enzian Systems Division, in Orlando, Florida, is ideally located to serve the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps training needs at the National Center for Simulation and Training in Orlando.
