Future IKEA Store Advances as City Council Approves Master Plan for Swedish Retailer's Future Orlando Store; IKEA Orlando Will Open In Fall 2007 as 3rd IKEA Store in Southeast and 2nd in Florida.

It is a major office and commercial center and the site of Sawgrass Mills, one of the largest malls in the United States. .

The plan approved in a unanimous city council vote allows IKEA to build a 309,000 square-foot store, with its 1,200 parking spaces, on 22 acres off Eastgate Drive, south of Conroy Road, across from the southeastern end of The Mall at Millenia.
