Futterman announces 40,000 s/f in Manhattan retail exclusives.

Robert K. Futterman & Associates announced it has been retained as the exclusive retail leasing agent for several new properties with available space totaling nearly 40,000 s/f.

The firm has been retained as the exclusive retail leasing agent 2626 Broadway, 1657 Broadway and 1775 Broadway.

RKF Chairman and CEO Robert K. Futterman and managing director Ariel Schuster are marketing the retail property at 1657 Broadway on behalf of building ownership, Madison 1657 Realty LLC. The space encompasses 5,705 s/f as well as several thousand feet of storage space.

Located on the Southwest corner of 52nd Street and Broadway, the retail space is in the heart of New York City's Times Square district and at the base of the luxury Novotel New York hotel. It is in close proximity to the Ed Sullivan Theater, home of The Late Show with David Letterman. Other neighbors include Blue Fin, Starbucks, Broadway Theater, Virgin, Equinox and the W Times Square.

At 1775 Broadway, also known as The Columbus Tower, RKF senior director Mark Kapnick and associate Brandon Eisenman have been tapped to market 2,350 s/f of retail space on behalf of The Moinian Group.

The 650,000 s/f building is located in Midtown Manhattan on Broadway between 57th and 58th Streets and has a 1,300 s/f space and a 1,050 s/f space, which can be combined for one larger space. 1775 Broadway is surrounded by upscale shopping opportunities including the Time Warner Center and The Shops at Columbus Center. Neighboring tenants also include Whole Foods, Comp USA and Trump International Hotel and Tower.

Schuster and RKF director Jonathan Krieger are marketing 16,450 s/fof retail space at 2626 Broadway on behalf of 2626 Bway, LLC.

Situated on Manhattan's Upper West Side, the space is next door to 2628 Broadway, Ariel East, and across the street from 245 West 99th Street, Ariel West, two luxury condominium buildings currently under development by Extell Development Company. Other neighboring retailers include Petco, Equinox and Barnes & Noble.

Futterman has also been retained as the exclusive retail leasing agent on behalf of MGM Management for two new properties, 96 Third Avenue and 1460 Second Avenue. The leasing assignment totals 9,300 s/f of space.

Ariel Schuster and director Jonathan Krieger are marketing 4,000 s/f at 96 Third Avenue and 5,300 s/f at 1460 Second Avenue. They are both ideal for restaurants and cafes.

The RKF team is also marketing 5,300 s/f at 1460 Second Avenue on Manhattan's Upper East Side. Located on Second Avenue, between 76th and 77th Streets, the space was formerly occupied by Il Monello restaurant.

Neighboring tenants include Starbucks, Commerce Bank and Pookie & Sebastian.

And Futterman has been retained as the exclusive retail leasing agent for 160 Mercer Street in New York's fashionable SoHo neighborhood.

Schuster and associate Izzy Anthony are marketing 5,400 s/f of retail space on behalf of building ownership Benjamin Partners.
