Furniture retailer signs on at Plaza.


Pliskin Realty & Development announced that it has signed The Place Furniture Galleries to a 10-year lease for 12,000 s/f at its Plaza 200 shopping center shopping center, a concentration of retail, service, and entertainment enterprises designed to serve the surrounding region. The modern shopping center differs from its antecedents—bazaars and marketplaces—in that the shops are usually amalgamated into  on Glen Cove Road Glen Cove Road is a major north-south thoroughfare through north-central Nassau County on Long Island, New York, and the main road leading to the communities on the east shore of Hempstead Harbor.  in Carle Place.

Representing the tenant in the transaction was Julius M. Feinblum Real Estate, Inc. (Plainview, NY), a brokerage firm specializing in the furniture industry.

According to CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  and president Jeffrey Pliskin, The Place will be occupying a portion of the space formerly used by Seaman's Furniture. The Place is planning to create a teen and kids furniture gallery at the location.

Plaza 200 is one of Long Island's premier retail locations. Just one quarter mile from the Roosevelt Field Mall Roosevelt Field Mall is the largest shopping mall in the state of New York and ninth in the country as measured by gross leaseable area at 2,189,941 sq ft. (203,452 m²). Located in East Garden City on Long Island, the anchors of the 270 store mall are: Bloomingdale's, JC Penney, , it attracts major national and regional tenants, lured by the region's affluent consumers.
