Furniture designer gets comfy at Resnick's 315 Hudson St.

 announced that furniture designer George Smith George Smith may refer to: U.S. politics
  • George Smith (Pennsylvania), Republican US representative from Pennsylvania, 1809 to 1812
  • George Edward Smith, mayor of Frederick, Maryland, 1901 to 1910
 has signed a multi-year lease agreement for 12,881 s/f of space at 315 Hudson Street, a Jack Resnick & Sons property.

George Smith will relocate from 73 Spring Street to a space more than double its size. In its new location, on the corner of Hudson Street and Spring Street, the furniture designer will occupy 5,881 s/f of space on the ground floor, and 7,000 s/f on the lower level.

PBS Realty Principal John Brod, along with Robert Neborak, represented George Smith in the transaction. John Pavone of Jack Resnick & Sons represented 315 Hudson Street.

In 2005, PBS Realty represented George Smith in the disposition of its former space at 75 Spring Street and its consolidation into the adjoining building at 73 Spring Street.

75 Spring Street was relet to Sur La Table Sur La Table, Inc. is a privately held American retail company based in Seattle, Washington, that sells gourmet cooking utensils and related merchandise, such as appliances, food, and cookbooks. , the Seattle-based retailer of professional culinary supplies; PBS Realty is the exclusive leasing agent for Greystone Management Corp., which owns 75 Spring Street.
