Furniture Brands Signs Agreement with Harrods.


FURNITURE BRANDS and London-based Harrods Department Store announced Jan. 10 that Thomasville Furniture Industries Thomasville Furniture Industries entered the first decade of the 20th century as the fledgling Thomasville Chair Company in a bustling railroad-side community in the triad area of North Carolina, near High Point, the furniture capital. , a subsidiary of Furniture Brands, will design and manufacture a new collection of furniture to be known as Harrods of Knightsbridge Fine Furniture Collection.

The exclusive collection features classic pieces based on extensive research of Harrods' archives. The archives have a collection of store catalogs and brochures that chart the progress and development of Harrods throughout its 150-year history. The collection will include sofas, chairs and occasional pieces.
