Thistletown Community Services Unit: Family Support Program, Year 2. Towards the Family Support Program that includes a moms and tots program, a parent empowerment program, information and referral, support and advocacy--all of which decrease isolation and increase access to services and early interventions for the low income and marginalized families who live in public housing and low income private housing in North Etobicoke. $20,000

Doreen Potts Health Centre. To purchase an accessible boat to enable elders and those with mobility problems to increase their participation in programs and activities. $19,000 over two months.

The Forum economique de Verdun. For its project Je m'implique a Verdun pour un milieu de vie securitaire--Phase 2. The project, in response to concerns revealed in a survey carried out in the first phase of the project, will encourage the development of a process that supports the empowerment of the people of Verdun. Through a local development approach citizens will be empowered to revitalize the neighbourhood and make it safer.
