FunMail Announces Availability of FunMail BREW Client 1.0; Animated Messaging Experience Product Now Available to Carriers Supporting QUALCOMM's BREW Platform.

FunMail announced today a shipping version of FunMail Client version 1.0 developed for QUALCOMM's Binary Runtime Environment for Wireless(TM) (BREW(TM)) platform. The FunMail content-driven messaging engine offers BREW-enabled phone users the ability to author, receive and send multimedia messages (MMS) with their favorite characters such as South Park and Garfield.

The FunMail BREW client allows BREW-enabled handsets to display compelling animations, and enables users to "author" animated messages simply by entering a text message. The application then interacts with the FunMail Messaging server to generate content relevant to the user's message.
