 Concert Hall Saturday morning.

Produced by Dallas Children's Theatre, the play is based on the hit children's book "The Stinky Cheese Man and Other Fairly Stupid Tales" by John Scieszka and Lane Smith.

The stage version of the story is just as funny, gross and silly as the original, DCT (Discrete Cosine Transform) An algorithm that is widely used for data compression. Similar to Fast Fourier Transform, DCT converts data (pixels, waveforms, etc.) into sets of frequencies. The first frequencies in the set are the most meaningful; the latter, the least.  education director Nancy Schaeffer said. The theater company expanded a few characters and created a few new ones as well and, of course, has added music and dance.

"We as a theater read tons of scripts over the course of a year," Schaeffer said. "This script does capture that humor humor, according to ancient theory, any of four bodily fluids that determined man's health and temperament. Hippocrates postulated that an imbalance among the humors (blood, phlegm, black bile, and yellow bile) resulted in pain and disease, and that good health was , just wacky humor, of the book.

`It's a clever comedy that appeals to adults and children in various ways. `The Stinky Cheese Man' is just pure fun where everyone can abandon logic and just revel in the absurdity."

Tickets are $20, $10 for children 18 and younger, and are available at the Hult box office, 682-5000, or online at www .HultCenter.org.
