DIWALI - RANGOLI Rangoli is one of the most popular art forms in India. It is a form of sandpainting decoration that uses finely ground white powder and colours, and is used commonly outside homes in India.

Rangoli can be wall art as well as floor art.
 

Diwali is the Hindu Festival of Lights and is celebrated for five days by Indians all over the world. Diwali is considered to be the most colorful of India festivals. Diwali lights are lit everywhere at dusk and a Rangoli is drawn at the front of each door. A Rangoli is an intricate design. A paste of rice flour Rice flour is a finely ground powder of rice. The husk of rice or paddy is removed and raw rice is obtained. The raw rice is then ground to form rice powder, also known as rice flour. The rice flour is used in making neer dosa, golibaje (Mangalore bajji), and rotti.  and water is used to fill in this design. Typically, a Rangoli is done in a circular fashion and can be quite colorful for Diwali. Draw and color a Rangoli for this Festival of Lights.

HANUKKAH (CHANUKKAH) - MENORAH menorah

Multibranched candelabra used by Jews during the festival of Hanukkah. It holds nine candles (or has nine receptacles for oil). Eight of the candles stand for the eight days of Hanukkah—one is lit the first day, two the second, and so on.
 

Hanukkah is the Jewish Festival of Lights. It celebrates the miracle that occurred when oil that should have lasted for only one day, burned for eight days.
