Fun day to mark jubilee.A FUN Day is being held by Coventry Mencap on Sunday to celebrate their golden jubilee. The event will be held at Brandon Wood Farm, Brandon Lane, Wolston near Coventry. There will be Punch and Judy Punch and Judy, famous English puppet play, very popular with children and given widely by strolling puppet players, especially during the Christmas season. It came to England in the 17th cent. , clowns, cheerleaders, farm animals and games. Jill Hinde, of Coventry Mencap, said: "Learning Disability Week is a great opportunity to raise awareness and understanding of learning disability in and around Coventry."
